o Promotes and sells products and services to meet customer needs and ensure repeat business
o Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
o Assists with preparing and maintaining store merchandise displays and stocking shelves
o Maintains an accurate parts inventory and ensures all parts, pick-ups, deliveries, and transfers are in their proper place
o Follows all Parts Department processes, policies, and strives to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
o Effectively communicates with the Branch Parts Manager and branch personnel on a regular basis
o Participates in training and development to support parts quality, sales growth and customer service requirements
o Communicates and follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting them to the Branch Parts Manager
o Assures timely completion & invoicing of all parts orders to maximize customer satisfaction and department performance
o Communicates and assists with parts warranty and return claims within the required time frame to receive maximum credit
o Ensures branch Parts Department facilities, areas and vehicles are clean and portray a professional image
o Ensures all Parts Department tools, equipment and vehicles are in good working order
o Promotes an attitude of safety and follows all safety requirements and forklift regulations
o Keeps open communication between in-store and other location personnel
o Excellent customer service and follow through skills
o Familiar with the equipment industry, John Deere and competitive products
o General understanding of mechanical/technical terms
o Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office, email and internet functions
o Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays
o Neat and clean personal appearance (in accordance with company policy
o Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups in person or on the phone
o General knowledge of office procedures and accounting practices
o Basic understanding of parts functions in company business operating system
o Exhibits necessary skills to effectively work in a fast paced environment
o Exhibits strong desire to expand personal development
o Ability to work within and promote a strong team environment across all departments
o Achieves and maintains forklift certification o Exhibits a willingness to accept additional assignments
o Ability to travel for customer service and training as needed
o Clean drivers record and valid New York State drivers license
